Wow. Where to begin? I do not need to sell here so no number less than $7000.00 will drive away with my Jeep. I paid $8500.00 for it and put a $1000.00 top on it! I have owned this Jeep for about two years. The previous owner had a frame off restoration done in the late 80s. About 2000 miles have been put on it since the restoration. I have done a few things to it as well. I installed the rear fuel tank like the 1970 and 71 model CJs have. So it has the under-seat tank and the rear tank with a mechanical valve to switch between. I installed a separate fuel gauge for the rear tank. I also put a Super Top on it because all it had when I bought it was a bikini top. This Jeep has the 225 Buick "odd fire" engine and an Offenhauser intake manifold. Try to find one of those today! It also comes with the stock intake manifold. I updated the single barrel carburetor that was on it to a two barrel carb taken off of a 1978 Buick Skylark with the 231ci engine. Of course I put a rebuild into the carb as well. The transmission is a 4 speed T98A. That is not a typo. The T98 is a heavy duty 4 speed. This was done with parts from Advance Adapters. You will not find many of these transmissions in a CJ. It also has the Warn overdrive. It has the upgraded electric wipers installed and I do have the old vacuum ones if you would like them. I removed all of the heater components and replaced with a newer more simple and quiet system. It is set up so half of the air goes to a heat distribution panel that directs heat where you want it and the other half always goes to defrost. It works ten times better than original and the best part is no vacuum lines are used to control the air! Also has the Saginaw power steering upgrade. One more note: I have burned only non ethanol fuel in my Jeep. I cannot think of anything else at the moment but if you have questions or would like more photos then send me a note.
